STARRZ DANCE STUDIO
Enrollment Agreement & Studio Policies
By enrolling in Starrz Inc. also referred as Starrz Dance or Starrz Dance Studio (“Studio”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. This agreement applies to all students and their parents/guardians.
1. Enrollment & Registration
All students must be properly registered before attending any class, rehearsal, or performance activity.
Enrollment is required for participation in all programs, including recreational and competition classes.
The Studio reserves the right to place students in appropriate classes based on age, skill level, and program availability.
A dance season spans from Sept to May of the following year and a season is broken into 2 sessions: Fall and Winter/Spring
2. Tuition, Payments & Late Fees
A yearly registration fee is mandatory and due at the start of each season or at the time of enrollment for all students.
Tuition is billed on a monthly basis, and not on a per class basis, unless otherwise specified.
Tuition may be prorated only for the first month, for students who join mid-month.
Payments are due on the 1st of each month.
Starrz Inc. accepts payments through your Starrz online account via its Dance Studio Pro platform.
Monthly reminder emails will be sent out regarding tuition payments to families who select the option “Send email to family “during the registration process.
Customers who opted out from receiving emails from Starrz Inc. are responsible to remind the payment schedule.
You understand that you will be charged a 3% surcharge per transaction if you choose to pay with the credit card option.
There will be no additional charge if you choose to pay with the ACH option.
Customers enrolled in our Autopay authorize Starrz Inc. to initiate electronic payments for the balances due on their account
A late fee of $10 per month will be applied if payment is not received by the 10th of the month.
Accounts must remain in good standing for students to participate in classes, rehearsals, and performances.
Outstanding balances may result in temporary suspension of participation until fully paid.
3. Refunds & Withdrawals
If a class is canceled by Starrz, a make-up class will be offered based on group consensus or students may schedule 1 additional class if identical classes are available.
There are no refunds or credits issued for missed classes due to illness, travel, scheduling conflicts, or personal reasons. This applies to make-up classes as well.
There are no refunds or credits issued if students drop mid-month for any reason.
Refunds are only considered if requested within 24 hours of initial registration (if applicable to specific programs).
Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing before the end of the prior month to avoid additional billing.(ex: for a withdrawal in November, notice must be provided by 11:59 p.m. on October 31st)
4. Attendance Policy
Regular attendance is expected for all enrolled students.
Excessive absences, especially from rehearsals, may impact participation in performances or routines.
Students missing multiple required rehearsals may be removed or replaced in choreography at the Studio’s discretion.
5. Dress Code
Proper dance attire is required for all classes.
Specific dress code requirements apply to Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary classes, and students must refer to the separate Dress Code Policy Document for full details.
Students who are not appropriately dressed may be asked to observe class.
6. Class Conduct & Studio Rules
Students must arrive on time and prepared for the class.
Only enrolled students are permitted inside the studio during class time.
Parents, guardians, and visitors are not allowed inside classrooms.
No food, gum, or snacks are permitted during class.
Water bottles are recommended for all students.
Students must maintain respectful behavior toward instructors and peers at all times.
Song selection is entirely at the teacher's discretion, and choices may not be shared ahead of the class schedule. While students can request specific tracks, the instructor holds final approval, and complaints regarding song choices will not be entertained.
Disruptive behavior may result in removal from class at the instructor’s discretion.
7. Performance & Competition Program
Placement in performance or competition teams may require evaluation or audition.
The Studio determines final casting, choreography assignments, and performance participation.
Participation requires consistent attendance and full commitment to rehearsals.
Costume, prop, and accessory care is the responsibility of the student/parent. Damages or loss may result in replacement charges.
All accounts must be in good standing to participate in performances or competitions.
8. Transportation & Pick-Up/Drop-Off
Optional pick-up and drop-off services are available for EH and FASSV students when capacity allows.
Families must complete a separate transportation request form to be considered for this service.
Approval is not guaranteed and is subject to scheduling and availability.
9. Communication & Email Responsibility
Studio updates, schedules, and important notifications may be sent via email or studio communication platforms.
If a family opts out of receiving emails, they are still fully responsible for staying informed of all Studio updates, including schedule changes, rehearsal information, and important announcements.
The Studio is not responsible for missed communication due to email opt-out or inactive contact information.
10. Media Release
By enrolling, you grant Starrz Inc. permission to photograph, record, and use images or video of students taken during classes, rehearsals, performances, and events for promotional, marketing, educational, and social media purposes without compensation or prior approval.
11. Liability Waiver
By enrolling your child or yourself in Starrz Inc. dance program, you understand that there are risks of physical injury associated with, arising out of, and inherent to the activity of dance and/or tumbling.
In recognition of this, you agree to release Starrz Inc., its staff, instructors, and affiliates from all liability for injuries and damages, and hereby acknowledge that you are knowingly and voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks of physical injury arising out of any participation in any Starrz Inc. classes, performances, camps, and/or other dance related activities.
In the event of any kind of injury or illness occurring to yourself or your child while on Starrz Inc. premises, you hereby authorize Starrz Inc. to seek medical assistance, including, but not limited to, calling 911 or otherwise arranging the transport of yourself or your child to any appropriate medical facility for treatment and you understand that you will be responsible for any cost(s) related to this medical assistance.
12. Studio Rights
The Studio reserves the right to:
Refuse or discontinue service for any student or family for policy violations
Adjust class placement based on age, skill level, or studio needs
Modify schedules, instructors, or programming as necessary
Remove or replace students from performances based on attendance, behavior, or commitment
Suspend participation for unpaid accounts
Starrz Inc. is not responsible for any lost and/or stolen items from any Starrz studios or performance venues.
13. Updates to this Enrollment Agreement
This agreement is subject to updates, as and when there is a need to do so. We will notify you, when this agreement is updated via email to your registered email address. You are required to review the updates when such a notification is sent. By continuing to use our services after the changes take effect, you agree to be bound by those changes. Otherwise, no further action is needed from you to accept such changes.
14. Agreement Acknowledgment
By completing registration and enrollment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this document and any additional studio policies referenced herein.
